Three and four year olds are more secure and ready for a higher level of challenge. Our Three’s class, also known as Pre-K3, offers a lot of opportunities to explore and participate in dramatic play. Guided by the Creative Curriculum, your child will learn to recognize letters and letter sounds, add two groups of concrete objects by counting, and begin to understand the concept of yesterday, today and tomorrow.
Here, our children take steps toward becoming active participants in their learning and in building community. They are able to stretch their thinking and their learning alongside their peers
The structure of each day takes shape as morning meeting and routines are embedded with rich learning opportunities, and emergent literacy and math concept work begins.
Language & Literacy: Children experiment with different letter sounds and start to explore characters and story plots.
Social-Emotional: Group activities help children learn to follow directions, take turns and develop friendships.
Mathematics: Children explore number concepts and practice comparing, classifying and measuring. They begin using number lines.
Digital Interactions: Children are introduced to basic technology vocabulary and begin to use the mouse and keyboard.
